Anime Festival Orlando

Contrary to popular belief nothing really exciting ever happens in Florida. yes we have an unnecessary amount of theme parks but that's really about it. You only need to go to those every few years and even then nothing much changes.

After I went to MegaCon with one of my best friends she told me that their was going to be another convention!!! And this convention was also going to be in Orlando!!!!

(Yes I know not to start a sentence with "and" BUT I'M EXCITED LEAVE ME ALONE)

The biggest difference between MegaCon and AFO is that for MC i only had about a months notice to buy tickets and pull together a costume and get off work. I only was able to go one day at that, which really sucked.

Good news is that AFO is in August so i have PLENTY of time to prepare. I'm going to try and go all three days. I really really REALLY hope I can go all three days. Me and some friends are planning our costumes as we speak.

The first day we are going as Hellsing!! (Specifically the abridged version)

Day two we aren't all going as a big group. Mostly just dressing up as whomever we want. So my day two costume is Misa Amane from Death Note.

  Now that is NOT me... This is only in inspiration for my costume.

If I am able to go on the third day I think that will be the day I just take pictures and buy tons of things that I don't really need. If i do get the urge to dress up I will probably just go as a Yu-Gi-Oh character...

Probably either female Bakura or Kaiba

Why do some people think that plastic surgery is a bad thing? Not all people that get it are addicted to it or look plastic.

This is my personal opinion but I think someone getting surgery for the right reasons should not be frowned upon. Sometimes a person isn’t happy with how they look. Not matter what people tell them they think that they aren’t complete or that something is missing.

If it makes you happy and it’s not hurting you or anyone else I don’t see why it is a problem. Do I think I personally need something done? No. But is it an option for the future? Heck yes it is. Maybe not like Botox or fillers (I really hate needles) but I foresee some type of abdomen surgery in the future.

I HATE it when people start calling men or women who have had surgery fake and plastics. Yeah so what? Your happy with how you look and so do they. What’s the big difference??? I would rather see someone happy and confident and have a plastic nose than someone miserable and feeling like they don’t deserve to live and be “all natural”.

 Skrew the people that are condemning people for being happy!! Leave them the hell alone.

Now if you are actually considering getting something done please do your research! There are a lt of surgeons out there that claim that they are certified plastic surgeons.

JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE A SURGEON DOES NOT MEAN THEY CAN DO RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGURIES!!

If you live in America HERE is the link to see certified surgeons nearest you, or to see if the person who did your surgery is actually certified. Be safe because you know that things can go wrong. You want to be in good hands when it comes to being the real you.

All in all, if you know that your not going to regret it GO FOR IT =D

BEING SICK SUCKS!!!!

First of all the only thing I can do is sit in bed.  A person can only play so much PS3 before wanting to bash their head in with the controller. Then you move on to watching Netflix for hours and hours on end..... After catching up on everysingle episode there is to see of How I Met Your Mother and Burn Notice you realize that your life officially sucks.

I was supposed to go to the fair today with kjæresten (That means the boyfriend by the way). His sister is presenting her pig today and we were going to go cheer her on ^^ I still might suck it up and go and be supportive.

Apparently i know nothing about how the "meat market" works. I still really don't which is kind of why i want to go tonight just to see how it all goes down.

I really just want to see kjæresten though. He was the one who got me sick in the first place!! So technically all of my bad feelings are his fault!!!

I won't blame him to much though as i forced him to endure my company lol. We went to Olive Gardn for lunch.. BLOODY AMAZING!! It's been a long time since I've had Italian food. I forgot how amazing it is. Gotta love the Italians. Gotta love them.

Bad grammar aside I think I'm just going to make some tea with honey adn find something else to do. Which was kinda the point of writing this entirly pointless entry. Rage entry blaming kjære for my troubles in life lol.

The Importance of Keeping a Monthly Budget.

I'm one of those people who are terrible when it comes to money. Sure I can save money and all that good stuff but i'm horrible when it comes to spending it and then before i know it...

IT'S ALL GONE!!!

That skrews me over when it comes to still being a student. If no one has told you yet, college in America is friggin expensive. Even what you call community college has fees out the wazoo! So people like me who love to buy crap that i don't need have a very hard time when it comes to paying for the things that really mater.

Therefore ladies and gentleman i have decided that I'm going to attempt to budget my money. Hopefully this will have some sort of effect on my finances (which after a shopping trip with my bestest friend is total shit right now).

The thing that I love about these is that they do all the math for you!! Since I hate math these things are like a godsend ^^ I mean kjæresten is only willing to do so much math for me.

Anywhoozle I really need to start getting this thing done. Summer is coming and I don't fit into ANY of my shorts from last year.... So guess who gets to go on a gigantoric shopping trip =D (If she has the money for it that is.....)

I Need To Diet.....

I've recently looked at myself in the mirror and almost died from the horror. I'm gaining weight again   >=(

THIS TOTALLY SUCKS!!!

I spent my whole summer trying to shed those horrible horrible pounds, i actually lost about 15 KG and I was excited to be almost skinny again. Now I'm just angry that all of my hard work had gone to waste. Some people don't understand how much hard work dieting is.

Personally I blame it on America. This may get a shit ton of hate but just look around you!! America is #1 on obesity lists (I don't quite know the name for these lists...) But it has been proven that America is the worse when it comes to people being overweight.

Fun Fact: the longest distance you can go in America withoughseeing a McDonalds is approximatly 193 KM (120 miles)

That's just friggin depressing.

(WARNING this next section will cause even more hate)

Now i'm from Norway, and have been in America for a "wonderful" 10 years. In Norway fast food is almost like a myth. Yes there are take-out restaraunts but not as many as there are here. Part of the Norwegian culture is eating healthy. Even after working all day you go home and will make a meal from scratch. Fresh fruits and veggies are more common to find than a cheese burger.

Actually your more likely to find some werid concoction with fish than cow =/

It sucks trying to diet whilst living in America. You guys and your chocolate covered sugar coated marshmellows, trenti size coffees, and OMG cheesecake factories!! How is a person supposed to resist things like that!!

Well I'm going to make it a point to get rid of those 15 KG again. I am bound and determined to do it too before this summer.  main reason being I'm going on vacation with the boyfriend and i want to look friggin amazing in a bikini..... speaking of which i need to get a new one since mine does not fit anymore =/

Enough of me complaining about everything ^^ I am proud of my mini rant though so y'all can deal with it.

Megacon 2012

So this post is coming kinda late.... ok VERY late, but i don't care! I'm lazy and you'll just have to get over that. so baout 2 weekends ago i attended Megacon in Orlando Florida.

I had a SUPER AWESOME CRAZY MEGA ULTRA TIME!!!

Everyone there was so freaking nice, and everyone was all photo happy there as well. I cosplayed Harely Quinn from Batman: Arkham Asylum and everyone wanted a pictrue of me!! At first it was kind of scary but once i got used to it i thought it was kinda nice. People actually wanted to take a picture with me because i was AWESOME =D

One of my favorite parts though had to be the shopping that was there. I didn't bring a whole lot of cash with me because i knew that i would spend every dollar that i had which would be a very very bad thing.

Enough about that though. Picture time!!

New PS3!!

So I am so exited to finally have  a playstation.. Yes i'm being totally lame but I DONT CARE!! I have a freakin' PS3!!

I'm kinda a videogame junkie. I will play any game at least once just to see how it is (never judge a book by its cover and all that crap.) i love love me some pixels. Yes I know I said love twice.

After about 2 hours of just looking at it for a while, and then admiring the controller i got with it. IT GLOWS BLUE >=D!!! it also has a fan that blows air on your hands. Gets rid of that clamy hand feeling that i HATE when playing video games. I feel bad for the other controler just sitting around gathering dust most of the time. He only really gets used when the boyfriend comes over ^^

I am also one of those people who has to give names to inanimate objects. So my PS3 has been officially named Murphy, after Cillian Murphy. He was the guy who played Scarecrow in Batman Begins. One of the best Batman movies by far. (Yes Dark knight was better... but still SCARECROW!!)
